Microchip is US based MNC Company with HO @ Bangalore. The new R&D facility at Chennai with 1,50,000 laks Sft, MEP works were executed by Melgiri with 11 KV Power tapping from substation, 800 KVA HT infra, 400 KVA UPS facility & Internal Electrical works to suit their IT and LAB requirements. The facility is given 2 Nos of 500 KVA DG with Synchronizing panel.
The facility also been provided with 25 KW Solar power generation plant.
The Fire safety requirement as per the local authority has been provided with hydrant and sprinkler system. 2 Nos Electrical pumps & 2 Nos Jockey pumps respectively for Hydrant and Sprinkler system. 1 No. Diesel motor operated pumps to feed both systems. Access control system and PA system with AV facility has been executed as per Microchip Global norms.
The complete PHE service executed with dual source of water supply system. Rainwater harvesting and re use of the same manage water supply system is a key delivery in the project. WTP & STP plant designed and installed at the premises.
